What is more important; Party differences or Party goals?

I believe that the end game is the only REAL meaningful difference as … it is in most things. The Republican side believes that the means justifies the end whereas the Democrat side believes that the end justifies the means. I know that this may sound trite, but under the surface, this is like day and night. On the Republican side, we have pro democracy, pro capitalism, pro life, pro liberty, pro freedom and pro individual rights. Conversely, the Democrats are anti ALL OF THESE THINGS. In other words, capitalists are for things and liberals are against things – half-full, half-empty – optimists, pessimists – positive, negative – capitalists, socialists … get the picture. Is there any wonder why liberals are such miserable condescending hateful people as a rule? What say you?
