If the world was created by god only 4000,adam and eve were the first.what about cavemen a million yrs ago?

THANK YOU SLICK50 !!!!!!!!!!! You are the FIRST person who has it right!!!!!!! In the beginning GOD did create Adam & Eve, but others were created as well. The story of Adam & Eve was written & discussed to show us THE FALL OF MAN and its consequences. Nowhere in Genesis does it say that Adam & Eve were the only ones created. Mankinds lineage as it stands today stems from Noah and His family that were saved on the Ark, unless God saved others that were devoted to Him in some other parts of the World. These are the type of questions that WE REALLY CAN'T ANSWER until we get to Heaven and find out. As far as science goes......you will have a very hard time finding one group of scientists that even agree with the theories of another. Scientists and archeologists (I watch the Disc channel alot) are continually doubting each others techniques, styles, theories and so called "factual" evidence. Scientists fifty years from now will probably be disputing the findings and theories of scientists from today. Fifty years from now, my King James version will still read exactly as it does today and how it did 100 years ago. Common sense will tell you that if MAN has been able to TOTALLY SCREW UP this world in just two thousand years.........what would have you believe that "civilization" has been around for a million??
