How do you treat vocal cord nodules without surgery?

I'm a 23 year old male singer (Tenor) and since April on this year I think I may have devolved a vocal cord nodule and I won't be able to see a doctor until the first of the year.If I do have a nodule I really won't to avoid surgery because I have read where I could lose alot of my range and I really don't want that.Can someone please tell me how to treat vocal cord nodules without surgery?Thank you!
