Missing my Nan and Granddad's dog who ped away?

Aw , I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of the dog you loved . I know how you feel because 1 Year ago , my yorki3 was so horrible that she got tooken away from us :'(. But I have a new one . If I were you I'd go and try to get some rest and stay in for a week or two . And make sure you try to keep the dog in your heat forever . I am sure this helps.
