I'm watching Endeavor's launch, I keep seeing debris flying by the lower left side of the shuttle, Is this nor?

Yes ice forms on all super cooled liquid fueled rockets, & the shuttle. Then falls off due to vibration, air friction, & heat caused by the friction. Foam always falls off the fuel tank too. The trick is not to let it hit the shuttle itself.
